Stacey Brunner-Jones is the associate director of athletics, in adddition to serving as the Athletic Department's senior women's administrator and head coach of the women's basketball team.
She just completed her seventh
season at the helm of the Falcons. She has led the Women's
Basketball team to four Northern Athletics Conference
Championships and two appearances in the NCAA Tournament, and
has been named NAC Coach of the Year twice.
Brunner-Jones' seven-year record at CUW is 127-65 including
an impressive 19-9 turnaround in her second season and an
unprecedented 23-4 mark with a NAC championship in
2006-07. That was followed by two more 20-plus
winning seasons and three more NAC crowns.
A 1995 graduate of Mt. Horeb (Wis.) High School, she was a member
of the Vikings state runner-up team and a three-time all-conference
performer. Following her prep career she competed at Winona
State University and was a two-year starter for the
Warriors.
Brunner-Jones' previous coaching positions included three years as
the women's assistant at Loras College (Iowa) and two as the
head assistant at Winona State (Minn.).
Stacey is married to Matt Jones. They reside in
Milwaukee, Wis., with their dog Jersey.
