MSOE sneaks past CUW 11-10 in game two

Concordia's offense scores a lot of runs, but Falcon pitching depth remains a concern, especially after CUW was upset 11-10 Monday evening in the second game of a doubleheader against MSOE; a team that had won only once this season.

Val Keiper's club banged out 13 hits against a trio of Raider pitchers, but could not quite overcome a 9-2 deficit created over the first five innings.

CUW starter Ryan Baglow was knocked out of the game during a 5 run Raider third and successors Glen Meyerhofer and Joe Jagiello allowed 5 more tallies over the middle innings.

Jon Olla stayed hot with a 3 hit performance while Matt Parrent, Ryan Schilter, and Matt Mayer had two hits each for Concordia.

This offensively-potent Falcon team, which has outscored conference foes 38-36, fell to 2-2 in the NAC. CUW is 7-7 overall.

MSOE is 2-13 and 1-3 in conference action.
