Concordia battled from behind on several occasions before pulling away for a 12-10 win over visiting Carroll this evening.
The Falcons combined a 17 hit attack with a 6 player pitching rotation to pick up the win. Matt Mayer, Matt Schilter, and Daniel Mueller each had 3 hits while Nick Doedens and Adam Martz slugged home runs for CUW.
The game was tied 5-5 before Concordia produced a 2 run 4th and 4 run 5th to gain some separation. The Falcons improved to 12-8 while Carroll fell to 5-14 on the season.
Greg Perlewitz saw his first mound action in two years after recovering from rotator cuff surgery, pitching one strong inning. Ryan Schilter pitched a scoreless 9th to earn the save.
