Friday started out unlike the last four days as the Falcons pounded Connecticut Wesleyan pitching early, taking a 5-0 lead in the first.
Austin Sarauer's double drove in the first two runs and was soon followed by Adam Martz's 3 run blast. However, after taking a 6-1 lead, Concordia found themselves behind 7-6 in the fifth.
With a tally in the fifth and a final run in the ninth, the Falcons rallied in the end for an 8-7 victory.
Glen Meyerhofer earned his first collegiate win, in relief of
Derrick Pankow, putting Wesleyan down 1-2-3 in the ninth.
