Falcon baseball drops game two 8-1 to Edgewood

West Bend

A solo home run by Adam Martz was all the scoring CUW could muster in an 8-1 game two loss to Edgewood (12-8 in the NAC) on Saturday afternoon.

Sidearm specialist Glenn Nowell (4-1) held the Falcons at bay with a mixture of pitches as he tossed a complete game 4 hitter.

Edgewood scored all the runs they needed in a 3 run first inning against Brent Behling (0-2) but Behling allowed only one other tally in six solid innings of work.

Concordia is now 8-7 in league play with a critical doubleheader at Wisconsin Lutheran coming up today.
