Baseball falls victim to late Elmhurst rally

AUBURNDALE, Wis. – The Concordia University Wisconsin baseball team dropped a fourth straight contest in Florida as Elmhurst College rallied for a 6-4 victory Saturday afternoon.

The Falcons held a 4-3 lead in the 8th inning before Elmhurst rallied for three runs, allowing the Bluejays to escape with the 6-3 victory. Sophomore Colin Bernreuter (Frakenmuth, Mich.)took the loss in relief for CUW.

CUW (0-4) will return to the diamond tomorrow when they take on Trinity College at 10 a.m. EDT. Trinity is receiving votes in the latest D3baseball.com poll.
