Falcons look to finish at .500

Mequon

It is the final game of the season for the Falcons and they look to end their two game losing streak against the Regents of Rockford College. The Regents are 1-5 in league and 1-8 overall. The Falcons are 4-2 in the league, are 4-5 overall as they look to finish at .500 for a second straight season.

In 2008 the Falcons outgained the Regents 395 yards to 256 with 345 of those coming on the ground. The Regents are averaging 7.1 points per game and 153.3 yards per game. The Rockford defense is allowing 399.1 yards and 40 points per game. The Falcons coming in are averaging 242.1 yards and 18.0 points per game while allowing 288.0 yards and 25.2 points per game.

What to watch for:

Look for the Falcons to establish the run against Rockford to take pressure off of the passing game and look for the Regents to do the same while trying to take shots down the field when possible.

Keys to victory:

The Falcons need to have a more balance attack on offense and the O-line will have to step it up and play dominate like in past years. The Falcons defense will have to dominate the Regents offense and minimize the big plays that plagued them the whole year.

My prediction 24-14 Falcons
