Andy Miller returns to the defensive side of the ball for the 2015 season, his fifth season at CUW overall and first since coaching the Running Backs in 2013. Miller is once again reunited with the Linebacking corps, the same unit he mentored during his inaugural campaign in 2010 where the CUW Linebackers lead the league in Tackles for Loss. During his prior stint with the CUW defense, he coached the 2012 Secondary to the nation's #1 Pass Defense as well as producing three All-Northern Athletics Conference honorees.
Throughout his four seasons with the Falcons, Miller has coached three different position groups (Linebackers, Secondary, and Running Backs) as well as the Punt Return and Kickoff units. He has also developed five All-Conference players (3 Def / 1 Off / 1 SPT). Prior to donning the Falcon visor, he spent five seasons with the University of Minnesota football- three as an undergraduate assistant coach, working primarily with the Defensive Backs and Special Teams units, and two seasons as an Equipment Manager.
A Concordia alum (2012, MS – Student Personnel Administration), Miller resides in Franklin, WI with his wife, Lauren, and two children – Elizabeth and Gabriel.
