WAUKESHA, Wis. – Concordia Wisconsin was chosen to finish second in the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Preseason Poll on Tuesday, as voted on by the league's head coaches and athletic communicators.
CUW received 186 points overall, while national runner-up Benedictine was chosen to defend its NACC title with all 22 first-place votes and 242 poll points.
Aurora was picked to finish in third with 179 points, while Marian (172), Wisconsin Lutheran (155), and Lakeland (151) were picked third through sixth.
MSOE was chosen to just miss out on a post-season tournament by being voted to finish in seventh with 99 points, while Rockford (97), Dominican (69), Edgewood (63), and Concordia Chicago (39) round out the poll.
The Falcons begin their season on the road with a pair non-conference games against Martin Luther (November 17) and Sioux Falls (November 19). The first home game is also the conference opener on November 22nd against Marian at 7 pm.
