Adrian overwhelms CUW hockey 7-1

Ozaukee Ice Center

The score was just 2-1 after the first 30 minutes of action, but bigger, stronger Adrian wore down the CUW skaters over time and eventually notched a 7-1 win. Four of the visitor's goals were the result of power play opportunities as the Falcons tired.

The intital period was one of the best for Tony Hrkac's team as they skated even with their Nationally Ranked foes, but Concordia (1-21-1) was outshot 32-8 over the final period and a half.

Graylyn Douglas scored the Falcon goal with assists from Greg Douglas and Ryan Roeming. Adrian improved to 19-3-1 overall with their weekend sweep.
