Men's Hockey makes appearance in both national polls

MEQUON, Wis. – For the first time in program history the Concordia University Wisconsin Men's Hockey team finds itself in both of Division III national polls. The Falcons are receiving votes in the poll, as well as the rankings.

This marks the second straight week and third time in school history that CUW has earned national recognition by the USCHO. The Falcons are once again receiving two votes.

CUW received recognition by for the first time this week, receiving three points in the poll. The Falcons climbed their way into that poll after skating to a pair of ties against St. Scholastica, who is ranked 13th according to the USCHO and receiving votes in the D3Hockey rankings.

The Falcons will have a big opportunity to move up in both polls this weekend as they visit Adrian College for a pair of NCHA games. Adrian is ranked fifth by the USCHO and sixth by D3Hockey. Puck is set to drop at 6 p.m. CDT Friday night for the opening game of the two-game set.
