Falcon lacrosse drops a thriller to Carthage 6-5


The Carthage College men's lacrosse team (11-1) defeated Concordia 6-5 last evening at Art Keller Field in Kenosha.

Carthage's Peter Slefinger scored the game's first goal at 12:18 before CUW tallied the next three, including two from Sam Wladyka, and led the hosts 3-2 at halftime.

The talented Red Men out-scored the Falcons in the third period, 4-1 with Alex Szmajda tallying twice.

Wladyka scored three times for CUW as Jeff Robert's first-year team dropped to 6-3 on the season.
