Bundra named MLC Defensive Player of the Week

NAPERVILLE, Wis. – Danny Bundra was named Midwest Lacrosse Conference Defensive Player of the Week for his efforts this past weekend in CUW's two record-setting victories, the league office announced.

Bundra (freshman, Lake Zurich, Ill.) helped lead a Falcons defense that recorded back-to-back 22-0 shutouts over Hanover College and Defiance College. The faceoff midfielder had an impressive two-game stretch, as he recorded 24 ground balls and won 37 faceoffs. He set career highs in faceoff wins (24) and groundballs (19) against DC on Sunday afternoon.

The MLC weekly honor is the second of the season for CUW and the first in Bundra's career.
