North Park Claims 4-1 Victory over CUW Men’s Soccer
CHICAGO - Kyle Sytsma
tagged the back of the net in the 38th minute to give the Concordia
University Wisconsin men's soccer program an early lead, but
undefeated North Park University responded with four consecutive
goals to earn a 4-1 non-conference victory at the Holmgren Athletic
Complex on Tuesday night.
Sytsma (junior, Antioch, Ill.)
scored his second goal of the season (an unassisted strike) before
the Vikings answered with Sehten Hills' unassisted tally in the
45th minute.
From then on it was
all Jonas Peterson as he scored three-straight goals for NPU
(4-0-1) to break the match open in the final minutes as Concordia
pressed forward.
The Falcons (3-3-0) return to the pitch on Saturday at 1 p.m.
for their Northern Athletics Conference opener at Concordia
University Chicago. That will be the second match in a four-contest
road swing for the Falcons.
