MILWAUKEE – With 20 minutes left in regulation, the Concordia University Wisconsin Men's Soccer team appeared headed for its first NACC loss in 2017. The Falcons trailed Wisconsin Lutheran 4-1 with the host Warriors scoring three times already in the second half. The Falcons showed their never quit attitude with three goals in the final 20 minutes before a Zach Gyuricza game-winner in overtime for the improbable 5-4 comeback victory. The win sets up a NACC unbeaten showdown with Dominican Saturday.

THE BASICS
- Final Score: Concordia Wisconsin 5, Wisconsin Lutheran 4
- Location: Warrior Soccer Field – Milwaukee, Wisconsin
- Records: CUW 6-2-3, 5-0-0 NACC; WLC 5-6-1, 1-3-0 NACC

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The game-winning goal was scored by Gyuricza (Chicago, Ill.) just 1:33 into overtime. The Falcons have played two NACC overtime matches this season and won both under two minutes into the extra session.

- Cristian Typrak (Hartford, Wis.), who was the hero in the Falcons last overtime winner, played a big role in sending the match into overtime on Wednesday. The freshman forward scored the Falcons third and fourth goals, the latter with 1:23 left in regulation. Colin Dibb (Hartland, Wis.) assisted the tying goal, while Josiah Ochoa (Mundelein, Ill.) had the helper on Tyrpak's first goal.

- Jake Swihart (Oostburg, Wis.) got the Falcons late run of goals started with his first score of the season in the 72nd minute. Gyuricza sent the cross to Swihart to begin the improbable comeback.

- The first part of the second half was all Warriors as they broke a 1-1 halftime tie with three consecutive goals. Iven Herrera scored the first two just 20 seconds apart from one another to make the score 3-1 in the 55th minute. Herrera then assisted on a Marco Perez score in the 71st minute, just 30 seconds before Swihart started the rally for the Falcons.

- The first half saw Wisconsin Lutheran take a 1-0 lead in the 26th minute before the Falcons tied the match with four minutes left before halftime. Dibb scored the first goal for CUW, assisted by Julian Esparza (Chandler, Ariz.).

- Nate Yeager (Rio Rancho, N.M.) picked up his sixth win of the season with a four-save effort. The Falcons also had one team save in the road NACC victory. Erek Lehnen stopped four shots for the Warriors.

BEYOND THE BOX SCORE
- The win keeps the Falcons perfect in NACC play and sets up a Saturday showdown with the other NACC unbeaten, Dominican. The Stars also secured an overtime victory Wednesday night, winning 2-1 at Benedictine.
