Track & Field competes in NAC Indoor Championships on Saturday

MEQUON, Wis. - In what will be their final indoor meet of the season, the Concordia University Wisconsin men's and women's track & field teams will travel to Kenosha, Wis. on Saturday to take part in the Northern Athletics Conference Indoor Championships.

Saturday's meet will take place inside the Tarble Athletic & Recreation Center on the campus of Carthage College. The action is set to begin at 11 a.m.

This weekend will provide a great opportunity for several Falcons athletes to qualify for the NCAA Division III Indoor National Championships, scheduled for March 9 and 10th in Grinnell, Iowa.

To qualify for nationals, athletes must be in ranked 22nd or higher in their event's national rankings.

Currently ranked 14th for the 60m Hurdles is senior Alex Pawlak (Colgate, Wis.), who set a school record in the event last weekend with a time of 8.35 seconds.

Senior Vincent Greefkes (Jackson, Wis.) also has a chance at qualifying in the 60m Hurdles, as he currently sits at 33rd in the event.
