Track & Field to take part in Eagle Invitational on Saturday

MEQUON, Wis. - Competing in their first meet in two weeks' time, the Concordia University Wisconsin men's and women's track & field teams will travel to Lisle, Ill. on Saturday for the Eagle Invitational.

The meet will take place on the campus of Benedictine University, and is scheduled to begin at approximately 10 a.m.

CUW is less than a month away from Northern Athletics Conference Outdoor Championships, after the Falcons had a break from competition last weekend.

Senior Alex Pawlak (Colgate, Wis.) enters the meet ranked 12th nationally in the 110m Hurdles, posting a time of 14.87 seconds at the Emory Invitational in Atlanta last month. Vincent Greefkes (Jackson, Wis.) is ranked 42nd in the same event with a time of 15.27 seconds.

The 4x100m Relay team of Pawlak, Sean Pawlak (Germantown, Wis.), Jonny Balsman (Rockford, Ill.), and Justin Rogers (Milwaukee, Wis.) has also been impressive, ranking 16th in the country in the event with a time of 42.21 seconds.
