Men's Cross Country competes at Brissman Lundeen Invite

ROCK ISLAND, Ill. – The Concordia University Wisconsin Men's Cross Country team had just five runners when it competed at the Brissman Lundeen Invitational Friday afternoon. The Falcons placed 20th as a team in the event.

THE BASICS
- Falcons Finish: 20th of 22
- Location: Saukie Golf Course – Rock Island, Illinois
- Falcons Top Five: Reese, Teigen, Wilcox, Johnson, Hutchins

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Craig Reese (Germantown, Wis.) once again paced the Falcons with another strong effort. Reese recorded a time of 22:54.9, finishing in 37th place overall.

- Ryan Teigen (Fargo, N.D.) was next for the Falcons, running a 24:48.4. Following Teigen was Matthew Wilcox (APO, AE) who posted a 28:38.2.

- The final two CUW runners were freshmen Justin Johnson (Van Dyne, Wis.) and Zachary Hutchins (Kewaskum, Wis.). Johnson came in at 29:00.5, while Hutchins ran a 30:18.2.

UP NEXT
- The Falcons will compete at the UW-Eau Claire Blugold Invite next Friday. The men's race will start at 4:15 p.m.
