Concordia rallies past Stritch 4-2


Trailing 2-0 heading into the bottom of the fifth, Concordia came up with 4 runs to win game one of Tuesday's twin bill.

Jannelle Schroder reached on an error to start the bottom of the productive 5th. Sarah Cochran doubled to put the tying runs in scoring position. Holly Zinnecker bunted safely to fill the bases before Stephanie Brunette grounded out to drive in the first run. Then Chelsea Strosina singled to drive in the tying run.

A single by Cara Landherr gave CUW the lead and another error provided an insurance tally.

Danielle Burke earned the win, pitching a 5 hitter and giving up one earned run as Concordia improved to 7-8 on the season.
