Falcons can’t shut down Dominican offense

Forest Park, IL

The Stars brought their A game to Sunday's doubleheader, especially during the third inning of game one when they scored 9 runs on 5 timely hits, a pair of walks, and two Concordia errors.

What had been a manageable 3-2 deficit was suddenly a 12 -2 domination and that's the way it stayed.

Stephanie Brunette, who has carried CUW offensively of late, had two of the 4 Falcon hits.

Danielle Burke lost for the 7th time against 13 victories as Concordia fell to 14-9 in league play.

The 5th seeded Falcons will begin NAC Tournament play on Thursday, March 6th at 3:00pm vs. 4th seeded Lakeland.
