Falcons fall 12-6 to end season

The script was eerily similar to the one two days earlier as fourth seeded Lakeland survived a big Falcon first inning and then turned up their own offense for a 12-6 win that ended the Concordia (23-20) season.

Fifth seeded CUW, which won the NAC Tourney a year ago as the 6th seed, had 3 hits and benefited from a pair of Muskie errors to produce a 4 run first.

After that it was all Lakeland as the victors (27-17) hit four home runs as part of their 14 hit attack.

Stephanie Brunette and Angela Ward each had two hits for Steve Crook's team and Janelle Schroder had a pair of RBI's.
