2009 Tournament Champions prepare for non-traditional season

Mequon After winning the 2009 NAC tourney title and then capturing a first-ever win at the National level, the Falcons will head into their fall workouts with almost everyone who was on their roster returning plus a host of talented candidates. Coach Steve Crook and company will rely on depth on the mound and in the field as they attempt to maintain the magic that was 2009. CUW barely made it into the conference tournament as a 6th seed, but then went 5-1 against squads with the top 5 regular season records. At the NCAA National level, the Falcons dropped a pair of thrillers, sandwiched around their win over St. Norbert. A list of fall candidates will appear shortly but pitchers and catchers are already busy throwing on their own.
