A 3 run 6th broke open a tight 1-0 contest and led CUW to a 4-1 win over Rockford Saturday in the second game of a doubleheader moved to Mequon due to unplayable field conditions at the Illinois school.
Clutch two out hits by Cara Landherr and Abbie Goetsch drove in the sixth inning runs and the Regents could only counter with a solo home run by Nicole Lawler in their half of the inning.
Goetsch had a 3-3 performance to lead Concordia (21-7) offensively. Sarah Cochran and Mariah Gieseman had two hits each.
