Danielle Burke (13-2) was named NAC Pitcher of the Week last week for hurling 4 consecutive shutouts.
Yesterday she celebrated the honor by firing a no-hitter as CUW defeated Maranatha in the first game of a doubleheader.
Burke struck out 4 and one walk seperated her from a perfect game as the Falcons won by the "slaughter rule" in five innings.
Concordia blew the contest open with a 5 run second inning that included 3 hits, two walks, and a pair of Crusader errors.
Steve Crook's team had only six hits in the abbreviated contest but scored in every inning while improving to 29-8 on the season and dropping the hosts to 7-28.
