Concordia rode an amazing 3-3 8 RBI performance from Cara Landherr to a 17-10 win over Lakeland in round two of the NAC Championship playoffs this afternoon.
The Falcons erased a 2-0 Muskie lead with a 7 run second including a Landherr grand slam before both teams added 4 tallies in the third.
Three of CUW's third inning runs trotted home via Landherr's second homer in two innings.
Lakeland got 5 in the fifth to get within 11-10 but Danielle Burke came on in relief for Concordia to shut down the LU offense while CUW hitters remained in high gear.
Concordia (31-9) plays at 5pm tonight.
