RIVER FOREST, Ill. "We had a great weekend of golf, explained head coach Jim Ingman. "Every player on the roster minus Madalyn Joanees who had to withdraw with an injury shot their best rounds of their brief NCAA careers."
CUW's Nina Puch (Fr./ Des Plaines, Ill.) finished as the Meet Medalist, shooting rounds of 75 and 80 while Falcons Lexi Westphal (Fr./ Brownsville, Wis.) and Emily Stephenson (Fr./ Ashland, Wis.) also scored very well.
"Jordan Osowski (Fr./ Germantown, Wis.) is putting better rounds up every time out and Amanda Chmiel (Fr./ Grafton, Wis.) improved greatly this weekend, but most impressive to me was freshman Emmy Dill (Bristol, Wis./ pictured here) shooting 16 strokes better on Sunday with an 85," said Ingman.
"What I really like is how we play as a team and work together as a team to get better. Our players have great focus on what they want to accomplish as a team of all freshmen but more importantly they have a lot of fun together while finding success on the course," concluded Ingman.
