Concordia University Wisconsin Women's Hockey senior Veronika Metanova had a week to remember last week. On Friday, she became the Falcons all-time leader in points scored. Over the past few days, she has received a couple of honors, recognizing her impressive feat.

After being named the NCHA Player of the Week, Metanova was also named to the Team of the Week. Each week, recognizes three forwards, two defenders and a goalie from around the nation.

Metanova (Palatine, Ill.) rewrote the Falcons record books this weekend by becoming the program's all-time leading scorer following a four-point effort Friday against Marian. She scored two first-period goals and added two third-period assists in a 6-1 win giving her 87 points in her career.

In addition to setting the point's record, Metanova moved to a tie atop the Falcons all-time assists leaders with 53. She is also two goals shy of tying that all-time record.

Metanova and the Falcons are back in action this weekend with a two-game NCHA road series at St. Scholastica. The opener is set for Friday night at 7 p.m.
