WAUKESHA, Wis. – The Concordia University Wisconsin Women's Hockey team had six players recognized for their efforts in the classroom as the NCHA released its 2016-17 All-Academic Teams last week.

In order for a player to receive All-Academic status from the NCHA, they must be of at least sophomore status and have a cumulative GPA of 3.3 or higher.

Seniors Nicole Krumwiede (Itasca, Ill.) and Veronika Metanova (Palatine, Ill.) earned the honor for the third-straight season to highlight the Falcons selections. In addition, juniors Chloe Bachman (St. Peter, Minn.) and Lexi Holman (Sauk Rapids, Minn.) were second-year honorees.

Sophomores Christina Pattengale (Portage, Mich.) and Ellie Woodman (Janesville, Wis.) landed on the All-Academic team in their first year of being eligible.
