Wisconsin native Jim Ingman just completed his sixth season as head coach of the Concordia University women's hockey team following the 2012-2013 season. Ingam owns a 40-97-19 overall record in his six years. He also is the head coach of the women's golf team at CUW.
In 2012-13 Ingman led a youthful squad to a 5-17-3 overall record. The Falcons team featured 23 players, 20 of which were either freshman or sophomores. CUW won five conference games in 2012-13, marking the third time in program history they have reached five conference wins.
In 2010-11 the Falcons posted their best season under Ingman's direction, going 13-11-4. CUW advanced to the NCHA quarterfinals that season and posted a 10-6-4 conference record, tying for fourth place in the always challenging league.
His 2011-12 team, comprised mostly of underclassmen, finished with a 7-15-3 record.
A 2001 UW-Stevens Point graduate, Ingman spent five years as an assistant for the Bemidji State University women's hockey program.
Prior to working at Bemidji State, Ingman was an assistant for the UW-Stevens Point women's hockey team, helping to build that program from the club level to national prominence over a four year period.
