Emily Mason enters her fifth season in 2015 as the head coach of the Women's Lacrosse program at Concordia University Wisconsin.
The Falcon mentor has continually guided the team to new heights, winning a program-record 12 games during the 2014 campaign, including an impressive 8-2 record on their home turf at Fitting Field. Following the successful season, Sammi Reiter was named Midwest Women's Lacrosse Conference Player of the Year.
Mason's team have improved in each of her first four seasons after she built the program from scratch prior to 2011. The Falcons didn't win a contest in 2011, won three games in 2012, before capturing the seven wins and a MWLC Tournament appearance in 2013, followed by the 2014 achievements and a spot in the MWLC Tournament as the No. 3 seed.
She has coached eight players who earned All-MWLC recognition, including including Sammi Reiter who was named the MWLC Newcomer of the Year in 2012, along with MWLC Player of the Year honors in 2014.
Mason played four years of women's lacrosse and ice hockey at Connecticut College where she was captain of both squads.
She was named to the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association All-Region team after her junior and senior seasons. Lacrosse has always been a part of Mason's life as her mother has been the head coach at Williams College for the past 27 years.
