MEQUON, Wis. – Concordia Wisconsin will face Denison in the opening round of the NCAA Division III Women's Tennis Tournament, which will take place in St. Louis on Thursday at 12 pm.
The neutral site match is being hosted by Washing University in St. Louis, who earned a bye to the second round.
Concordia Wisconsin boasts an overall record of 21-6 and recently won the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Tournament on Sunday in electrifying fashion with a 5-4 victory over Edgewood. The Falcons won the NACC regular season with a perfect 10-0 record.
They are one of nine schools in the bracket to have accumulated at least 20 wins.
Denison brings a 14-7 overall record into the match and also won conference tournament championship (North Coast Athletics Conference), its 12th in program history. The Big Red is ranked 22nd in the latest ITA Division III Top-40 and fifth in the Central Region.
The winner of the Concordia Wisconsin vs. Denison match will move on to play host Washington University in St. Louis Bears on Friday at 12 pm.
