WAUKESHA, Wis. - Concordia University Wisconsin sophomore Emily Mauermann has been named the Northern Athletics Conference Women's Outdoor Track & Field Student-Athlete of the Week for events of April 8-14, as selected by the league's sports information directors.
Mauermann (Janesville, Wis.) set two personal records at the Eagle Invitational on Saturday. She placed seventh in the 400-meter dash, running a 59.54. Her time in the 400 currently ranks second in the NAC. She then ran a conference-best 26.21 in the 200-meter dash, placing eighth in the event.
Mauermann and the Falcons will return to the track Saturday when they compete at the Cedarville Collegiate All-Corners Meet. The meet is scheduled to begin at 9:30 a.m.
