Krista Hasselquist graduated from the University of Wisconsin-River Falls in 2009 with a Bachelor's Degree in exercise and sport science and Minors in business administration and coaching. She competed for the Falcons earning multiple All-American honors in the shot put and was a part of the team’s 2008 NCAA Division III Outdoor National Championship.
She holds the UW-RF school record
in the discus and 20 lb. weight throw. In addition, during her
final season of competiting she received recognition for her
academic accomplishments, being named to the CoSIDA/ESPN Academic
All-America Second Team and was named a WIAC 2008 Indoor Scholar
Hasselquist works at CUW in the Career Services office helping students discover and pursue their passions and future vocations. She is currently pursuing her master’s degree and her goal is to become a NCAA Division III Athletic Director. She is USATF Level 1 certified.
She began coaching CUW prior to the 2010 season and provides excellent experience and technique training student-athletes, already developing an all-conference squad.
