Concordia 1 Edgewood 1 2OT

Ryan Middendorf's Falcons played host Edgewood to a 1-1 standoff in Madison last evening, leaving the Falcons with a 9-2-1 conference finish. The Eagles (15-3-1 overall) are now 10-0-1 in the league as they received the first partial blemish on their undefeated NAC season.

Kayla Racklyeft put CUW on top with a rebound tally at 14:46 of the first half but Edgewood's Tammi Hagensic tied the match with a 19 yard blast fifteen minutes later. Neither team was able to muster another tally over the following 70 minutes of action that included a pair of overtimes.

The tie gives CUW a 4th seed in the congested upper end of the NAC tourney and means that Concordia will host 5th seeded Aurora on Sunday at 1:00pm in a NAC quarterfinal. Only the top 6 teams make the tournament.
