May 8, 2009 Men's NCAA Tennis Regionals

The CUW Falcon tennis team, 14-10 overall but undefeated NAC regular season and tournament Champions, were eliminated in the first round of NCAA tournament play by Luther College (37-5).

The Nationally-ranked opponents won all three doubles matches in straight sets and had also recorded wins in two of six singles competitions when the match was discontinued because Luther had secured five points.

Tom Weber's squads have won 10 consecutive league titles but this was the first team they had advanced to NCAA Regional competition.
