Milwaukee
Wisconsin Lutheran scored the first goal of the match and held that
1-0 margin until the 68th minute when Becky Ott tallied unassisted
to tie the score.
"They (WLC) caught us off guard," said Coach Ryan Middendorf,
"but we played a good second half and are still in the hunt for a
playoff spot."
Emily Waldorf's score at 77:23 gave CUW their first lead, and
Ott scored again at 85:50 to create the 3-1 final.
Concordia improved to 6-4-1 in NAC play with one game remaining
while upset-minded WLC fell to 1-10-1 in conference action.
Only the top six teams make the NAC Tourney so next week's game
at Aurora could be critical.
