Non conference opponent Carthage (7-4-2) scored twice in the
first half and then held on to defeat Concordia 3-1 Thursday
afternoon at Fitting Field.
The visitors controlled play from the outset, outshooting CUW
14-4 in the first half and getting scores from Alyssa Baker and
Rachel Jason.
CUW's Lauren Straehler cut the deficit in half just two minutes
into second half action but a third Carthage score at 60:01 put the
game away.
The Falcons are now 6-6-1 and host Dominican on Saturday at
3:30pm.
