CUW drops extra inning thriller

Orlando, FL

Frostburg State scored twice in the first extra inning to defeat the Falcons 3-1 Wednesday, dropping CUW to 4-3 on their Florida trip and 5-6 overall.

Concoria led 1-0 before a sixth inning tally allowed the eventual winners to tie the score in regulation.

"They should not have scored," said Coach Steve Crook. "Dani deserved a shutout and we let her down a bit defensively."
