A one hour rain delay at the outset caused tonight's contest to
begin after 8:00pm. The host Raiders (4-0 in the NAC) did not seem
to mind the late hour as they built a 3-0 lead before settling for
a 3-1 win over CUW.
Paula Bohl scored the Raiders first goal just ten minutes into
the game, and her second with 20 minutes left in the contest was
the nail in the coffin.
"This was a frustrating loss," said Falcon mentor Ryan
Middendorf. "We played hard...hit the post twice with shots...and
just have to work our way through what has been a tough
stretch."
