CUW's Abby Hoeflich finally broke a 0-0 stalemate when she
tallied at 51:07, jump starting the Falcons (4-5-1) to a 3-0 win
over host Maranatha yesterday.
The Falcons, who were held scoreless at UW- Whitewater earlier
in the week, controlled play against the Crusaders but were shut
out for 50 minutes of this contest before Hoeflich found the back
of the net.
Kelli Wittenberg got her third goal of the season just 5 minutes
later and Lauren Straehler added icing in the 74th minute. "Our
wings Abby and Kelli really played well. I hope this carries
over," said Middendorf.
