NEW BERLIN, Wi
s.- The Concordia Wisconsin men's tennis season got off to a
rocky start as the Falcons, undefeated in 2011 conference play and
NCAA qualifiers, were whitewashed by host Carroll University 9-0 on
Friday afternoon at the Moorland Park Tennis facility..
Only the number one and two doubles matches went down to the wire
with CUW losing those decisions by 8-6 scores.
All six singles matches were decided in straight sets as the
defending NAC champion Falcons opened their non conference
season.
Carroll's Jack Michael handed Concordia senior Brian Tresedder
(Kingsford, Mich.) a 6-4, 6-1 defeat at #1 singles.
Tom Weber's CUW squad hosts Lawrence University on February
17th.
