MILWAUKEE -
Concordia University Wisconsin's men's tennis team won all three
doubles matches en route to winning its Northern Athletics
Conference opener over Wisconsin Lutheran College on Wednesday at
Princeton Club.
The Falcons cruised in all three doubles matches with the pairing
of senior Brian Tresedder (Kingsford, Mich.) and sophomore Skip
Turner (Eau Claire, Wis.), along with sophomore Russell Johnson
(Monticello, Wis.) and junior Taylor Shaffer (Stoughton, Wis.) each
winning 8-1.
During singles play, the Falcons won five of their six matches.
Turner, Johnson, Shaffer and sophomore Nathan Hoeppner (Watertown,
Wis.) each won a set 6-0.
CUW returns to the court on Saturday for a pair of NAC duals
against Dominican University and Concordia University Chicago
starting at 10 a.m.
