GLENDALE, Wis. – St. Mary's University blanked Concordia University Wisconsin, 9-0, in a non-conference dual match on Friday evening at the Paley Tennis Center. The match was the spring opener for the Falcons.

Senior Taylor Shaffer (Stoughton, Wis.) pushed his No. 2 singles opponent into extra points, but eventually fell 6-2, 7-5. He scored the most singles points of any Falcons on the evening.

Antoine Leon and freshman Steven Fritz (Berwyn, Ill.) battled their No. 3 doubles opponents, but dropped the match 8-4.

CUW returns to the court next Friday, Feb. 15, for a dual match against Lawrence University at the Paley Tennis Center.
