WAUKESHA, Wis. – Concordia University Wisconsin's Nina Puch earned Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Women's Golf Student-Athlete of the Week honors, the league announced on Monday night.
Puch (Des Plaines, Ill.) fired a career-best 71 in the opening round of the UW-Whitewater Fall Invitational. The senior finished that round two strokes under par, which included an eagle on the 10th hole. She followed that with a 7-over-par 80 Saturday and finished second in the 98-player field.
The weekly accolade is the second of the season for the Falcon leader.
