Janesville, Ill. – Concordia Wisconsin opened up the season at the Culver's Edgewood Fall Classic, yesterday were they placed 8th out of 20 teams. The Falcons were only able to complete one round of play due to inclement weather that overtook Glen Erin Golf Club, forcing the second round to be cancelled.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Junior Sam Schlosser (West Bend, Wis.) led CUW during the first round of the season, coming in with the top team score of 75. Junior Andrew Otto was only one stroke back from Schlosser with a strong 76. Schlosser finished just outside the top 10 on the leaderboard for the event by coming in at 13th out of 115 participants. Otto also finished in the top 20, coming in at T-19 out of 115.
- The Falcons also saw strong scores from Sophomore Nate Benjamin (Tucson, Ariz.) who shot a 79, and Sophomore Dylan Karvala (New Berlin, Wis.) along with Senior Jacob Tenlen (Montreal, Wis.) who both shot an 81 to round out CUW's lineup. This brought the Falcons team total to a 311 on the day.
