MEQUON, Wis. – The CUW women's golf team posted its lowest-combined round of the season on Saturday afternoon at the River Club. The Falcons fell short to Edgewood by a score of 403 strokes to 397 strokes.
Senior Amy Carpenter (Elk Grove Village, Ill.) finished the fall for a perfect four-for-four as medalist at 89 strokes, tying her career-low, which she established twice already this season.
Freshman Rebecca Curley (Winthrop Harbor, Ill.) finished the match at 102 strokes in fourth place.
The freshman duo of Kila Eckmann (Waukesha, Wis.) and Anna Rousseau (Hartford, Wis.) finished in a tie for sixth place at 106 strokes. The 106 strokes are a career-low score for Eckmann at CUW and tie the career-low score for Rousseau.
Freshman Kayla Samann (Campbellsport, Wis.) secured a ninth-place finish with 110 strokes.
Sophomore Hanah Conger (Davenport, Iowa) sat in 11th place with 138 strokes on the afternoon.
Saturday was the last scheduled competition for the fall season.
