Men's Cross Country Runs at Private College Championships

APPLETON, Wis. – The CUW men's cross country team finished their last meet before hosting the NACC Championships next weekend. The Falcons finished in ninth place with 238 points on Saturday.

Of the eight runners that participated, six posted career personal records in the 8K and the other two, posted season-best times.

Freshman Dominic Willadsen (Sheboygan, Wis.) crossed the line first for the Blue and White, posting a career personal best time of 28:38.30.

Sophomore Joshua Peterson (Palatine, Ill.) posted the second Falcon personal best with a final time of 29:40.30.

The third Fastest Falcon crossed the finish line at 30:11.00.  This was sophomore Easton Becker (Ankeny, Iowa) with yet another career-best time.

Behind Becker was sophomore Jack Ramstack (Colgate, Wis.) with his second season PR in a row posting a 30:22.00 for the course.

Ryan Klug, a sophomore from Arlington, Virginia, was just behind Ramstack coming in under the 30:30 mark with a time of 30:28.90, which was the fourth Falcon to record a personal-best time.

Finishing with a time of 31:11.60 was freshman Matthew DiMercurio (Florissant, Mo.) with yet another Falcon personal best.

The Last Falcon to cross the line for the team score was freshman Leo Roemer (Whitefish Bay, Wis.) with a time of 31:22.80.

The final Falcon was senior Derrick Folkman (Bonduel, Wis.) with a final time of 33:15.5.

The Falcons look to find their stride when they host the NACC Championships on Oct. 30.
