Women's Golf finishes the weekend at Millikin

DECATUR, Ill. – The CUW women's golf team finished the Millikin Dechert Classic in 11th place on the weekend at 892 strokes. The Blue and White improved 16 strokes from Saturday's round. Carthage won the competition with 652 strokes.

Senior Amy Carpenter (Elk Grove Village, Ill.) finished in a tie for 39th place at 186 strokes.

Freshman Rebecca Curley (Winthrop Harbor, Ill.) improved three strokes from Saturday with 98 on Sunday to finish in 58th place.

Freshman Anna Rousseau (Hartford, Wis.) dropped her score by six strokes on Sunday to finish with 238 in 61st place.

In 62nd place was freshman Kayla Samann (Campbellsport, Wis.) at 269 strokes after dropping 13 strokes from Saturday.

Sophomore Hanah Conger (Davenport, Iowa) finished the weekend at 289 strokes and improved seven strokes from Saturday's round.

CUW will compete next at the William Penn Spring Invite on March 29.
