Men's Cross Country finishes second at the WLC Road Race

WAUKESHA, Wis. – The CUW men's cross country team started the 2021 spring season on Saturday morning at the WLC Road Race. The Falcons finished in second place out of four teams with 52 points.

Freshman Tim Brey (Cedarburg, Wis.) finished in second place with a time of 16:37.20.

Junior William Ebel (Macomb, Mich.) clocked in at 17:33.89 in ninth place.

In 12th place was freshman Jacob Klumb (Grafton, Wis.) at 17:47.90.

CUW had a flock of Falcons finish close together. Freshman Jack Ramstack (Colgate, Wis.) finished in 14th place at 18:57.52, freshman Huy Nguyen (Pennsauken, N.J.) in 15th place at 18:58.38 and with freshman Ryan Klug (Arlington, Va.) in 16th place at 18:59.00.

Junior Derrick Folkman (Bonduel, Wis.) crossed the finish line at 20:19.81 in 20th place.

Sophomore Tim Steinke (Brookfield, Wis.) rounded out the flock in 22nd place at 21:07.88.

The Falcons are scheduled to compete next at the NACC Championship on March 27.
