CARTERVILLE, Ill. – The CUW men's golf team finished in fourth place out of 10 teams at the John A. Logan Invitational. The Falcons finished the two-day tournament at 629 strokes. The Blue and White improved by 19 strokes in the second round.
Senior Wyatt Wilderman (Bear Dance, Mont.) led CUW in 17th place at 154 strokes.
Senior Nate Benjamin (Tucson, Ariz.) followed behind in 18th place at 155 strokes.
In 25th place was junior Jordan Carlton (Kewaskum, Wis.) at 158 strokes.
Freshman Andrew Carlton (Kewaskum, Wis.) finished the two days with 162 strokes to finish in 38th place.
Sophomore Carsten Zange (Robins, Iowa) rounded out the lineup with 190 strokes.
All five Falcons shot a lower round in round two.
The Falcons return to action on Saturday at Millikin.
